We want to change that.
Our Story
Her Voice was created with a shared passion and mission: to celebrate the music of women-identifying film composers, increase visibility, and build community.
Even in films with a mostly women-led cast and crew, the post-production side—especially the composers—are still predominantly men.
That has continued to stick with us. And it’s what led to the idea for Her Voice. We want to create a space where women film composers can be seen, heard, and celebrated. And just as importantly, a place where female creatives can connect, collaborate, and support one another.
